Mahila Samakhya Karnataka, Mysore unit took up gender sensitisation for school children as an activity- in the year 2005 and conducted sessions in many schools on this topic. The video was made during this period, drawing from these sessions.
The video follows four school children and talks to them about gender, education, boys and girls, their dreams and their reality. Over many interviews, the video builds a narrative of children's perception of gender equality. The video has been useful to discuss social conditioning, during gender sensitisation training sessions.
